It is read/seen by some humans, not many. The most gratifying stories have to do with people "hating" something I've done, but then turning around, "getting" it, and liking it a lot. And then sometimes changing their own work to incorporate something they've learned from my work. It is also great when people see something in my work that I was unaware of.
